Christoph Pfeuffer is a doctoral researcher at the Institute for Software Engineering at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. Prior to that, he worked as a Systems Engineer in the aerospace industry and the automotive sector. His research focuses on the development and evolution of digital twins. In particular, he investigates methods for using existing system artifacts — especially documentation, models, and runtime data — to efficiently build, continuously evolve, and ensure the consistency of digital twins throughout the entire system lifecycle. His research interests include digital twins, model-driven engineering, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), and systems engineering.
In addition to his research, Christoph Pfeuffer presents his work at scientific conferences and in exchange with industry partners. He is particularly interested in transferring scientific methods into practical solutions for the development of complex technical systems.
