We are pleased to announce that the IEEE 23rd International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (CASE 2027) will take place in the Design Center Linz from 23 to 27 August 2027. Our Institute of Business Informatics – Software Engineering, led by Prof. Manuel Wimmer, is organising the conference, with Prof. Wimmer serving as General Chair.
CASE brings together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to present and discuss recent advances in automation science and engineering. Hosting the 23rd edition of the conference in Linz provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen the dialogue between automation research and our institute’s work in model-driven engineering, digital twins and software engineering for cyber-physical systems.
The organising committee further includes Prof. Mariagrazia Dotoli (Politecnico di Bari) as Programme Chair and Prof. Alois Zoitl (Johannes Kepler University Linz) as Local Committee Chair. From our institute, Dr. Stefan Klikovits is supporting the organisation as Financial Co-Chair and Local Organisation Co-Chair.
Further information on the conference, including key dates, travel information and the organising committee, is available on the conference website: https://2027.ieeecase.org
We look forward to welcoming the international automation community to Linz in August 2027!
